Senator the Honourable Adrian Thomas, extends sincere congratulations to Team Grenada for its outstanding achievement at the Royal Horticultural Society’s Chelsea Flower Show in London on May 21, 2024.

The team not only secured Grenada’s 17th gold medal but also captured the coveted

President’s Award, which is given to outstanding exhibitors.

The minister praised the team leaders, suppliers, and designers who made it possible. Minister Thomas said,

“This remarkable accomplishment is testament to the team’s dedication, creativity, and exceptional horticultural skills.”.

Grenada’s display captivated the judges and attendees alike with its vibrant and innovative design, showcasing the island’s flora and natural attractions under the theme

“The Golden Falls of Grenada” in celebration of Grenada’s 50th year of Independence.

Minister Thomas also noted that Grenada’s participation and achievements in international events like these showcase the island’s natural beauty and the talent of its people, further boosting Grenada’s reputation and image on the global stage, as well as increasing awareness and visitor arrivals.

Tourism Authority to support initiatives that enhance Grenada’s appeal as a vibrant and sustainable tourist destination.
